He then went to work for Microsoft in 1999 followed by multiple dot-com businesses during the height of the tech bubble.

Yeh started out in the cryptocurrency industry in 2013 and became obsessed with decentralized currency after reading an article about Bitcoin – which was then valued at $60.

Since then Yeh has built an over-the-counter crypto trading business, managed multiple hedge funds, and invested in various projects.

Quantum Fintech Group, which Yeh founded in 2020, is an ecosystem focused on Fantom.

Fantom is a layer-1 blockchain which aims to provide an alternative to Ethereum with lower transaction costs and faster speeds.

Yeh says: “Fantom is a transaction enabler for other cryptocurrencies, and supports microtransactions with close to zero fees.

“Quantum Fintech Group leads the way by incubating and supporting projects in the blockchain space that are focused primarily on Fantom’s platform.”

According to Quantum Fintech Group’s LinkedIn: “A minimum of ten years is required for disruptive technology to catch on and begin hoping to reach widespread acceptance; by that statement, the present day would mark the beginning of rapid, large-scale expansion of cryptocurrency adoption – a crypto supercycle wherein altcoins and distributed ledgers become mainstream.

“In finance, as in technology, many of the largest moves are highly nonlinear – Tesla’s stock price is a prime example – and doubling effects are often driven by psychology.

“Similar psychology-driven effects can speed the widespread adoption of crypto.

“Quantum’s crypto management offers for high-net worths mirror those from JPMorgan and other banking stalwarts, and in many ways the existence of crypto-focused management services within the Old Guard signals a tidal shift in the world of investments and banking, one which Quantum is ideally positioned to capitalize on.”

Yeh is currently based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
