TOBACCO will soon be available in the metaverse, with luxury brand True Gent Cigars opening a virtual cigar lounge, as well as releasing a series of NFTs.

The company is to launch exclusive access to its cigar lounge in a metaverse for holders of its soon to be released non-fungible tokens.

It believes it can revolutionise the digital space by bringing a new set of clients to Web 3.0.

True Gent Cigars says it has a number of users who are leading business men and women but have never properly engaged the area before.

It hopes the launch of its Cigar Life NFT will help change that.

As well acting as a key card to a metaverse cigar lounge, the tokens will provide holders with discounts at a number of venues, cigar loungers and retailers across the US.

True Gent Cigars has not yet announced in which metaverse platform it intends to build its virtual lounge.

However, it hopes that by attracting more of its clients to interact with NFTs and the metaverse, it will bring years of business experience to the space.

Founder Eddie Green Snr said: “We just don’t have enough tech one the cigar space, and the really irony is, top level CEOs in many industries, including tech, love cigars and regularly enjoy them to unwind and network.”

The company wants to be a part of creating fresh ideas to help shape the rapidly developing digital sphere.

“We stand to make a lot of money in this space, but it’s hard to know exactly how or even why it’s possible because most of us don’t understand how any of this stuff makes sense,” Green said.

“You’re leaving out millions of people who could really change this space.”

True Gent Cigars will launch its NFT project on May 1.
