What is Hbar?
Hbar – also known as Hedera – is a cryptocurrency that aims to be quicker and more energy efficient than predecessors such as Bitcoin and Ethereal.
Launched in 2017, it is the official token of the Hedera Hashgraph system, a decentralised network for building apps.
It was created by computer scientist Leemon Baird and claims to be faster, more environmentally friendly, and cheaper than much other decentralised technology.

The Hbar token can be used to pay for services on the Hedera Hashgraph network, and also has an important role in protecting it against cyber attacks.
Hbar is one of the top 50 cryptocurrencies in the world based on market cap and there is a fixed supply of 50 billion tokens.
Hbar price prediction 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2030
The crypto influencer Jack Gordon has predicted Hbar can reach $100 in the long term, but there is little evidence to back that up.
PricePrediction is expecting serious gains for Hbar in the coming years but nothing close to the raises needed to reach $100 any time soon. While it is expected to be worth $0.066 at the end of 2022, it will grow substantially over the rest of the decade.

By the end of 2023 Hbar is set to be worth $0.092, by the end of 2024 it is forecast to have a value of $0.14 and by the end of 2025 it is anticipated to be priced at $0.20.
Come 2030, it is set for a price of $1.24.
Meanwhile, DigitalCoin is far more cautious in its price predictions for Hbar.
It believes it will be worth $0.0649 at the end of this year, $0.10 at the end of 2023, $0.13 at the end of 2024, and $0.16 at the end of 2025.
By 2030 it predicts Hbar’s price will be $0.33.
