HAN Chang-joon is the former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Terraform Labs and Do Kwon’s business partner.
Chang-joon was arrested in Montenegro on March 23, 2023, along with Do Kwon, and charged with using false passports to try to travel to Dubai.
Who is Han Chang-joon?
Han Chang-joon was born on December 7, 1995 in South Korea.
He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, with a degree in computer science and economics before working as a software engineer at Microsoft.
Chang-joon joined Terraform Labs in 2018 and was promoted to CFO in 2020.

Han Chang-joon is currently being held in Montenegro but has denied the charges against him.
On May 12, 2023, Han Chang-joon and Do Kwon were each granted bail for $436,000.
The pair claim they own property worth several million in South Korea, and the bail would be paid by their wives.
The two Terraform executives will be under house arrest.
According to the Podgorica basic court, that travel limitation is a “substitute for custody by a considerable extent.”
The court said Han Chang-joon and Do Kwon’s “personal and family circumstances, their property status, as well as the property status of the persons who provide bail,” the $436,000 bail is enough to stop them from fleeing.
Montenegrin prosecutors objected against their release, saying the pair were a flight risk who had “zero interest” in staying in the country.
Han Chang-joon’s salary as CFO of Terraform Labs is unknown, however, Terraform Labs paid their top executives millions of dollars in total compensation in 2021.
Do Kwon, the co-founder and CEO of Terraform Labs, received $278 million in total compensation in 2021, while Daniel Shin, the co-founder and chairman of Terraform Labs, received $250 million.
It’s unknown how much of this was salary and how much was in the form of stock options and other forms of compensation.
There is no publicly available pictures of Han Chang-joon.
