NATALIE Brunell hosts the Coin Stories podcast and the Hard Money show.

But what is the story behind Brunell and what’s her net worth?

Who is Natalie Brunell?

Natalie Brunell was born in Lodz, Poland in 1986 but moved to Chicago, Illinois in the US when she was five.

Brunell graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in broadcast journalism and Italian studies after spending part of her time in Florence, Italy.

While in Florence she worked at SeeTen, a production company that created content for Italian TV.

She then did a master’s degree at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Brunell started her career as a receptionist and then an editorial assistant at CAA.

In 2012, she was awarded a Master’s News Fellowship for CNN in the Los Angeles bureau.

She continued to work for CNN after her fellowship as an associate producer but also took on other freelance work for Reuters TV.

Brunell’s first on-camera role was at KESQ-TV in Palm Springs, California where she worked her way up to become an investigative reporter and anchor.

She then joined NBC station KCRA-TV in Sacramento, California before joining ABC News.

In 2017 Brunell discovered Bitcoin but didn’t “go down the rabbit hole” until a couple of years later.

In February 2018, she launched the Career Stories podcast where she interviewed media personalities about their career and advice for success.

Within months, Career Stories was named one of the top 50 podcasts in Apple’s career category.

In 2019, Brunell then joined Spectrum News as a senior correspondent and investigative journalist.

In 2021, she dived headfirst into the cryptocurrency industry and launched the Coin Stories podcast.

Coin Stories features interviews with influential voices in the crypto space and quickly appeared inside Apple’s top 100 business podcasts.

Brunell said: “My parents came to the US when they were in their late 30s and early 40s, and had to start over in a new country and learn a new language.

“I saw them work really hard so I was instilled with a really strong work ethic and this idea that education and working hard is going to propel me.

“But they lost everything in the financial crisis of 2008-2009.

“That’s when I also started my television career – when the recession was really underway.

“I looked at what happened to my parents and I always wondered how did it happen.

“I didn’t understand they’re good people, they pay their taxes, they play by the rules and they lost everything in this crisis that they didn’t orchestrate or had anything to do with.

“I guess what I would say is that I had this predisposition for appreciating Bitcoin because of my family’s journey and what they went through in the financial crisis.

“But then I also spent 10 years interviewing people in different communities who were suffering from a lot of the things that impact global societies – growing poverty, the wealth disparity, rising costs of education and living, civil unrest.”

She added: “Bitcoin is for everyone. Bitcoin doesn’t care about your age, your gender, what country you are in, your languages.”

“I want to inspire more people to get on board.

“A lot of women out there, they have money to spend and they want to save, they want to invest it right, they just don’t know where to start and I think they look at Bitcoin as more complicated than it is.”

In May 2022, Brunell joined Swan Bitcoin where she hosts the Bitcoin news and interview show Hard Money.

What is Natalie Brunell’s net worth?

Natalie Brunell has a net worth of around $1 million.

Brunell is reported to make around $500,000 a year from her Coin Stories podcast and as host and managing director of the Hard Money show.
