Who is Anthony Pompliano?
Anthony Pompliano was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 15, 1988. He went to Cardinal Gibbons High School before going on to study sociology and economics at Bucknell University.
Pompliano (known as Pomp) served in the U.S. Navy for six and a half years and was deployed as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
After leaving the US Navy Pompliano founded Digaforce in January 2013, a social media intelligence platform.

The company was bought in December 2013 by Strategic Link Partners.
Pompliano then went on to join Facebook where he worked as a product manager for 18 months before leaving and joining Snapchat in 2015.
But after three weeks he was fired by Snapchat.
In a lawsuit, he accused the company of deceiving investors by releasing misleading growth metrics but Snapchat claimed he was fired because of his poor performance.

In July 2016, Pompliano and Jason Williams founded Full Tilt Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage companies.
The firm’s investments have included companies such as Lyft, Reddit, and EverlyWell.
In 2018, the firm was acquired by Morgan Creek, an asset manager with a multi-billion dollar portfolio.
He left Morgan Creek Digital Assets in September 2020 and now runs Pomp Investments, a solo-focused venture capital firm.
In 2018, Pompliano launched a podcast on YouTube called The Pomp Podcast (formerly Off The Chain), which features big names from inside and outside the crypto sphere including Mark Cuban and Robert Kiyosaki.
He currently has more than 450,000 subscribers.
Pompliano also has more than 120,000 followers on Instagram and over 1.6 million followers on Twitter.
In 2019, Pompliano predicted that Bitcoin would reach $100,000 in two years.
Despite the various global political and economic issues that have affected the cryptocurrency industry, Pompliano is still positive about Bitcoin.
He believes it will continue to hold value because to its technological capabilities.
He also said people might start investing because of its ability to be controlled by software.
In January 2021, Pompliano launched a jobs board for the cryptocurrency industry called PompCryptoJobs.
