Shiba Inu's Shiboshi NFTs

Shiba Inu (SHIB) have joined the NFT craze and released 10,000 Shiboshi NFTs.

But what are Shiboshi and how do I buy one?

What are Shiba Inu’s Shiboshi NFTs?

Shiba Inu have released 10,000 non-fungible “loveable creatures” called Shiboshi NFTs.

The Shiboshi NFTs were released on October 14 at 5:30 PM EST (10:30 PM GMT) and
sold out in just over 35 minutes.

They are hosted on Ethereum’s blockchain and each NFT has a unique trait such as laser eyes or a party hat making them collectibles.

Shiba Inu’s NFTs come with generic names like 00001 but holders will be able to name the Shiboshis for an additional $100.

In a blog post from October 5, Shiba Inu’s project lead Shytoshi Kusama, said: “It’s important to name your Shiboshi because names are unique and can only exist once in the Shib Oshiverse.

“With the expansions, we are planning, this could potentially make your Shiboshi more valuable.”

The post also says there will be a Shiboshi Game where NFTs holders will be able to use their Shibosi in strategic gameplay.

For example, Shiboshis with laser eyes, will give the player the ability to attack long-distance and “blind an opponent or give an additional move.”

Shiboshis were available to buy exclusively on ShibaSwap – Shiba Inu’s decentralised exchange (DEX).
